Thalatta Estate Bridal Expo

Okay okay, let's just say I haven't been one of the most consistent bloggers ever...but I want to share these wonderful photos before this year's expo took place. ;)

*~TIME WARP~*

On Sunday, September 27th, We participated in the 3rd Annual Thalatta Estate Bridal Expo. This specific expo has a small soft spot in our hearts as it was the first Bridal Show or Expo we had ever participated in. Needless to say we were excited to go back.

This time around though, we were super stoked because Tracy-Ann Jarrett's Photonotions whipped out their cameras and got some really nice shots of the day and all of the vendor's booths. I won't lie...ours was my favorite. ;)

If you are interested in going to this year's bridal expo at Thalatta Estate, click here to RSVP. :) Make sure to stop by and say hello!

On Cloud Carbonnell - A Thalatta Estate Wedding

I met Stephanie and Christopher at a bridal show held at Thalatta Estate. If you ask me what we spoke about that day, I'll be honest and say I don't remember. I just remember pulling out their entry as the runner up of our raffle from the show and the rest was history.Β

Upon meeting with Steph, she had a bunch of awesome ideas and already knew exactly what she wanted her Day of Paper Goods to look like. We worked together to come up with some modern, cute ideas that would highlight her rustic theming and use of the colors Coral and Teal.

How I didn't follow my own advice

So if you recall a few months ago, I wrote a post with some sound advice about using Pinterest as a tool to record ideas for your special event. How easily it was to get lost in the vast amount of pins and details that are just perfect, followed by the overwhelming feeling at how much each of those "ideas" truly cost.

Well....

Ugh...yes. I admit it. I totally gushed over gorgeous and smart pins that promised not only functionality in my new home, but the DIY (Do It Yourself) way to get 'er done. But as I followed each pin to it's source, I slowly realized I hadn't followed my own advice to my clients.

I will admit that the one thing falling through the Pinterest Rabbit Hole did was at least gather my thoughts on what I wanted our special space to look like. I was encouraged with some pins that proved my ideas weren't as crazy as I thought.

What was the last thing you obsessed about on Pinterest? Please let me know...I can't be alone. ;)

Anilos Wedding - An Estancia Culinaria Wedding

Anicia's wedding sounded like an absolute dream when she contacted me a short time before her wedding date. She was still in need of some day of items (cards for a seating chart and menus for each guest) and to create a design that matched some of the already pinned down details. Needless to say, I think our items definitely coordinated nicely with the rest of her theming.

Take a look at some of the details from Anicia's big day. :)
